Terms and Conditions<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n

ABOUT US:<\/strong>
IMPACTDISTANCE LDA \u201cSHUTTLE\u201d is a company with a registered trade mark, licensed to provide transport services using unmarked vehicles; it is a limited liability company incorporated under Portuguese law, NIPC 515079820, with its registered office at Rua Anzebino da Cruz Saravino No. 354, Plot 8, Ground Floor, Shop 18, 2415-371 Leiria \u2013 Portugal.<\/p>\n

SHUTTLE\/TRANSFER SERVICE:<\/strong>
We provide a professional passenger transport service using marked and\/or unmarked vehicles:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Leiria to the airports of Lisbon, Porto and Faro;<\/li>\n
  • Leiria to the beaches of S\u00e3o Pedro Moel, Praia da Vieira and Pedrog\u00e3o;<\/li>\n
  • Leiria to Pombal railway station;<\/li>\n
  • Leiria to Coimbra railway station and Coimbra hospitals and others;<\/li>\n
  • The Shuttle service is a private service where you do not share the journey with other passengers; transport is provided by an 8-seater minibus or a light passenger vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT:<\/strong>
    The Impactdistance Shuttle service must be booked by telephone or by email.
    We accept payments by credit and debit card or in cash.
    For any enquiries regarding bookings or payments, please contact the customer helpline listed below.<\/p>\n

    PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF OF PASSENGERS:<\/strong>
    Passengers may be picked up and dropped off at any address within a 10 km radius of the centre of Leiria (our head office); it is at the driver\u2019s discretion to determine the order in which passengers are picked up and\/or dropped off on all journeys undertaken.
    Passenger pick-ups within a 10 km radius of Leiria city centre may begin up to 1 (one) hour before the scheduled departure time for the airport (depending on the number of passengers to be picked up and the distances involved).
    Passenger pick-ups within a 10 km radius of Leiria city centre may begin one and a half hours before the scheduled departure time for the airport (depending on the number of passengers to be picked up and the distances involved).
    As soon as the passenger pick-up service begins, the driver\u2019s mobile number will be sent via text message.
    In the event that the collection and\/or delivery point is situated in a location that is difficult to access or within a pedestrian zone, the collection and\/or delivery point will be moved to the nearest point that can be accessed under normal traffic conditions.<\/p>\n

    CHECKED BAGGAGE:<\/strong>
    Each passenger may carry one suitcase and one personal item (e.g. a handbag, a laptop bag or a shoulder bag).
    The carriage of excess baggage is subject to an additional charge. If a passenger arrives with more baggage than was declared at the time of booking, carriage of that baggage may be refused.
    The maximum total dimensions of each item of luggage must not exceed 158 cm (height + length + width).
    To transport items such as bicycles, surfboards\/bodyboards, ski\/snowboard equipment, pushchairs, golf bags or any other items larger than those specified above, please contact the Customer Service helpline listed below.<\/p>\n

    JOURNEY DURATION:<\/strong>
    The journey between Leiria and S\u00e1 Carneiro Airport (Porto) will take approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.
    The journey between Leiria and General Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon) will take approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes.
    The journey between Leiria and Faro Airport (Faro) will take approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes.
    Impactdistance Shuttle accepts no liability for any delays caused by traffic congestion, road conditions or weather conditions.<\/p>\n

    FLIGHT DELAYS:<\/strong>
    In the event of a flight delay or delayed baggage, the Impactdistance Shuttle service will not be able to wait for the delayed passenger to arrive, but will offer to transport them on the next available service for an additional fee.<\/p>\n

    CHANGING AND CANCELLING A BOOKING:<\/strong>
    All fares can be changed or refunded up to 2 hours before the scheduled time of the first leg of the booked service.
    The customer may cancel their booking and be entitled to a refund of the base fare, less a processing fee, or change their booking free of charge.
    Any bookings that have not been cancelled at least two hours in advance cannot be amended or refunded in the event of cancellation.
    Partially used bookings are non-refundable (where part of the route or journey has been used).<\/p>\n

    RETURNS PROCESSING FEE:<\/strong>
    Credit card refunds accompanied by the relevant credit note are subject to a processing fee of \u20ac5.
    Refunds made by bank transfer, for which a credit note is issued, are subject to a processing fee of \u20ac10.
    Any returns must be received by the customer within 15 days.<\/p>\n

    LIABILITY FOR DELAYS IN THE SHUTTLE SERVICE:<\/strong>
    Should a delay attributable to Impactdistance Shuttle result in additional expenses for passengers, Impactdistance Shuttle undertakes to reimburse such expenses, provided they are supported by valid accounting documentation.<\/p>\n

    VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION:<\/strong>
    The marked vehicles are black, grey or white and display the words \u2018Impactdistance Shuttle\u2019 on the rear or side windows.

    ON-BOARD EQUIPMENT:<\/strong>
    All vehicles operated by Impactdistance Shuttle are fitted with air conditioning and feature USB charging sockets for electronic devices.<\/p>\n

    EATING AND DRINKING ON BOARD:<\/strong>
    For the comfort of all passengers, eating and drinking on board the vehicle is prohibited, with the exception of water.<\/p>\n

    TRANSPORT OF ANIMALS:<\/strong>
    No animals are permitted on board Impactdistance Shuttle vehicles, with the exception of properly identified guide dogs.

    SPECIAL NEEDS:<\/strong>
    Requests to transport passengers in wheelchairs, children requiring restraint systems as required by law, or any other special transport requests, must be made via the Customer Support helpline listed below.<\/p>\n

    RIGHT OF ADMISSION:<\/strong>
    Only passengers in possession of a valid Impactdistance Shuttle invoice or travel receipt will be permitted to travel.
    The driver reserves the right to refuse to carry any passenger who does not have a company document showing any extras or discounts to which they are entitled and which are not itemised on the invoice or receipt.
    The driver reserves the right to refuse carriage to any passenger who appears to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or behaving inappropriately, and whose behaviour, under any circumstances, jeopardises the safety of other passengers or the operation of the service. Any refusal of carriage will always be reported to the local authorities and does not entitle the passenger to a refund.<\/p>\n

    In the event of any items going missing, please contact the Customer Support helpline on +351 916437006 (call to the national mobile network).<\/p>\n

    CIVIL LIABILITY INSURANCE:<\/strong>
    The Impactdistance Shuttle service is covered by third-party liability insurance, in accordance with the relevant legislation.<\/p>\n

    COMPLAINTS:<\/strong>
    The Impactdistance Shuttle service provides all users with a complaints book, in the formats currently required under the legislation in force.
    Conflict resolution:
    In accordance with Law No. 144\/2015, we hereby inform you that, in the event of a dispute, consumers may refer the matter to the following Alternative Dispute Resolution Body for Consumer Disputes:
    CACCL \u2013 Lisbon District Centre for the Arbitration of Consumer Disputes.<\/p>\n
